This is a brief description of our Immersion Gold (over electroless nickel) per ICP-4552 process:

• Immersion gold is applied over electroless nickel.
• Electroless Nickel / Immersion Gold (ENIG) is a superior finish to other immersion finishes and organic coatings for excellent coverage, uniformity and fine-pitch features. The process has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for good solderability. Low temperature operation allows for good soldermask compatibility. The finish has a long self-life and can withstand multiple thermal cycles.
• Meets IPC-4552 paragraphs 3.1, 3.2, 3.4.
